Welcome to Bethlehem Lutheran Church

Come and See

Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, "Follow me." Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. Philip found Nathanael and said to him, "We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph," Nathanael said to him, "Can anything good come out of Nazareth?" Philip said to him, "Come and see."
John 1:43-46

Dear Friends,

Philip’s invitation to Nathanael is Bethlehem Lutheran Church and School's invitation to you: “Come and see!” Come and see Jesus Christ, God’s incarnate Son. He came to give us life in all its fullness. His blood, shed on the cross of Calvary, has purchased and won us from sin, death, and the power of the devil. His bodily resurrection from the dead assures us that His victory is also our victory! We are saved by God’s grace alone, through faith in Jesus Christ alone. And this life-giving truth comes to us through Holy Scripture alone.

“Come and see” Jesus, our Savior, as you hear His inerrant Word preached and taught in our Church and School. “Come and see” Jesus as He comes to us in the Divine Service through the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion. Come and rejoice in the Gospel of the forgiveness of sins and eternal life!

The people of God who are Bethlehem, Sheboygan, invite you to join us in the worship of the Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. You will find arms and hearts open to receive you. You will find many opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship in Bible study and groups. You will find an excellent, accredited Lutheran Christian Day School staffed with committed Christian teachers and aides.

“Come and see!”

Yours in Christ,

Rev. James Hartman, Administrative Pastor
Rev. Alan Kubow, Associate Pastor
